Caramelized figs with goat's camembert and walnuts on lamb's lettuce

Ingredients for 2 servings:

  • 75 g lamb’s lettuce
  • 4 figs, ripe
  • 100 g Camembert(s) (goat Camembert)
  • 6 slice(s) ham (Black Forest), optional
  • 1 handful of walnuts
  • 1 tbsp honey, liquid
  • 3 tbsp olive oil
  • 2 tbsp Balsamic vinegar bianco
  • 2 tsp, heaped mustard (honey mustard)
  • Salt and pepper from the mill
  • some olive oil
  • ½ tbsp honey, liquid

Instructions

Working time approx. 1 hour; Total time approx. 1 hour

Trim the lamb’s lettuce and mix a dressing with oil, balsamic bianco, honey, salt, and pepper. Then dice the goat’s cheese and heat the oil and honey in a small pan over medium heat. Halve the figs and place them in the pan, fruit-side down, once it’s reached the right temperature. Add the walnuts as well. The oil and honey will begin to bubble as the figs and nuts caramelize. Meanwhile, arrange the lamb’s lettuce on the plates, scatter the cheese cubes evenly over it, and toss with the dressing. Once the figs and nuts are caramelized, add them to the salad. If you like, you can also serve lightly roasted ham with it. A nice glass of white wine goes well with this.
