Caramelized strawberries with Amaretto

Ingredients for 3 servings:

  • 500 g strawberries, fresh
  • 1 tbsp butter
  • 1 tsp sugar
  • 3 tbsp Amaretto

Instructions

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 3 minutes; Total time approx. 13 minutes

Wash the strawberries and halve them lengthwise. In a pan, caramelize the sugar in the hot butter until lightly caramelized, then add the strawberries. Then fry them for about 1 minute over medium heat, stirring gently, and deglaze with the Amaretto. Serve immediately in dessert bowls. Be sure to eat the strawberries warm to retain their full flavor!
