Cardamom cookies

Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 250 g butter
  • 100 g powdered sugar
  • 1 packet of vanilla sugar
  • 250 g cornstarch
  • 75 g flour
  • 30 g baking cocoa
  • 1 tsp cinnamon powder
  • 1 tsp cardamom powder
  • e.g. hazelnuts, whole kernels
  • 200 g dark chocolate coating

Instructions

Working time approx. 30 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 50 minutes

Knead the butter, powdered sugar, vanilla sugar, cornstarch, flour, cocoa powder, cinnamon powder, and cardamom powder into a smooth dough. Form the dough into thumb-sized balls, flatten them, and place them on a baking sheet. Press a hazelnut into each ball. Bake the cookies at 180°C (top/bottom heat) for 20 minutes. To decorate, melt the chocolate coating in a bain-marie and spread it on the cookies with a spoon.
