Sour potato pieces

Ingredients for 3 servings:

  • 500 g potatoes
  • 50 g butter
  • 1 onion(s)
  • 2 tsp flour
  • ¾ liter meat broth
  • 2 tbsp vinegar
  • 4 gherkins
  • 200 g hunting sausage

Instructions

Working time approx. 30 minutes; Rest period approx. 1 day; Cooking/baking time approx. 30 minutes; Total time approx. 1 day 1 hour

easy and quick to prepare

Peel the potatoes and cut them into small pieces, dice the onion. Boil the meat broth. Now fry the butter and onion in a saucepan, add the flour and make a roux. Gradually add the hot broth and stir until smooth. Add the potato pieces to the broth and cook until al dente. Cut the sausage into cubes and fry them in a pan, then chop the gherkins. You can add more or fewer gherkins and sausage to taste. Finally, add the sausage cubes, gherkins, and vinegar to the broth. Let the pickled potato pieces stand for a day to marinate properly.
