Carrot and onion vegetables with hemp seeds

Ingredients for 2 servings:

  • 4 large carrots
  • 2 onions
  • 100 ml water or vegetable stock
  • salt and pepper
  • 1 tsp mustard (or double if you like)
  • 80 ml cream
  • 2 tbsp hemp seeds

Instructions

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 25 minutes

Clean and chop the carrots. Peel and dice the onions. Cook the vegetables with the mustard in water or broth until tender. This will take about 15 minutes, depending on the size of the pieces. Add the cream. Finally, season to taste and add the hemp seeds. If you like, garnish with some parsley when serving.
