Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 200 g carrot(s)
  • 1 bunch of chives
  • 150 g quark
  • 1 tbsp sour cream
  • 1 tsp lemon juice
  • salt and pepper

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 15 minutes

Cheap, quick and low-fat

Wash the carrots, peel them thinly, and grate them finely. Wash the chives and cut them into fine rolls. Blend the quark with cream and lemon juice until creamy. Stir in the carrots and chives. Season the carrot cream with salt and pepper and serve on whole-grain bread. Per serving: 5 g protein/2 g fat/4 g carbohydrates. Variations: Instead of carrots, you can also use celery or tart apples, or a mixture of both. Then stir in 2 tablespoons of finely chopped nuts (e.g., walnuts).
