Carrot meatballs

Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 700 g carrot(s), grated
  • 100 ml milk
  • 40 g butter
  • 2 tbsp semolina
  • 1 egg(s)
  • salt and pepper
  • 2 tbsp breadcrumbs
  • 3 tbsp oil

Instructions

Working time approx. 30 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 50 minutes

Coarsely grate the carrots and bring to a boil with the milk and butter. When they’re soft, add the semolina and stir. Cook until the mixture thickens. Let cool. Then add the egg, lightly beaten with salt and pepper, mix everything together, and season with salt and pepper. Form into patties, roll in breadcrumbs, and fry in hot oil until light brown.
