  • Balsamic vinegar or wine vinegar

Instructions

Working time approx. 25 minutes; Total time approx. 25 minutes

with Mettwurst or bacon

Peel the potatoes and trim the carrots. Cut everything into pieces and boil in a pot of water until tender. Meanwhile, sauté the Mettwurst or bacon in a pot with a little water until tender. Drain the potatoes and carrots and let them cool briefly. Then add the milk, butter, salt, pepper, and nutmeg. Mash everything vigorously until it forms a creamy paste. If the mixture is too thick, thin with the sausage or bacon juices until the desired consistency is reached. Serve on a plate, drizzle with vinegar or balsamic vinegar, and sprinkle with the chopped onions. Serve with the sausage or bacon.
