Carrots, potatoes, vegetables with homemade liver sausage

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 1 kg potatoes
  • 1 kg carrot(s)
  • 1 onion(s)
  • 500 g liver sausage, homemade
  • cream
  • salt and pepper
  • Fat

Instructions

Working time approx. 1 hour; Total time approx. 1 hour

Gelato and potato through

Peel the potatoes and carrots, chop them into small pieces, and boil them in salted water until very soft. Drain the water and mash everything with a masher. Finely dice the onion, fry until golden brown, and add it to the potato and carrot mixture. Peel the liverwurst and stir it into the vegetable mixture. Season to taste with salt and pepper. If the mixture is a bit too thick, you can add cream to achieve a nice, creamy consistency. I hope I’ve explained it clearly. This is an old recipe from my grandmother that has only been passed down orally. Enjoy!
