Briefly roast the cashews in a pan and let them cool. Then blend them with the basil, Parmesan cheese, olive oil, garlic, and spices in a blender until creamy. The mixture of ingredients can be adjusted to your taste. A wide pasta dish is ideal, as it will easily absorb the pesto.
