Ingredients for 1 servings:
- 100 g wheat flour type 405
- 90 g brown sugar
- 60 g butter, soft or room temperature
- 7 g baking powder (approx. 1/2 packet)
- 1 pinch of salt (not necessary for salted butter)
- 1 small egg(s)
- 100 g cashew nuts, chopped
- 100 g chocolate, dark (e.g. ‘Herbe Sahne’ from the discount store), chopped
Instructions
Working time approx. 20 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 35 minutes

Preheat the oven to 180°C fan/convection oven. Combine the butter and sugar, add the egg, and mix well. Combine the flour and baking powder and add in portions. Alternatively, mix everything together in a food processor fitted with a rubber-lipped beater. Fold in the chopped cashews and chocolate. Using 2 teaspoons or an ice cream scoop, form the dough into small balls and place them on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Flatten lightly with wet fingers. Bake in the preheated oven for approximately 10-15 minutes. Allow to cool completely.
