Casserole: Crispy Bread Casserole
The perfect casserole: crispy bread casserole recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.
- 500 g Mushrooms brown – no rest
- 100 g Smoked farm ham – rest
- 2 Discs Roast from Sunday – rest
- 1 piece Onion
- 3 piece Spring onion – rest
- 1 piece Clove of garlic, chopped and not crushed
- 1 tablespoon Lard / fat
- 2 tablespoon Herbs chopped, fresh – here: chives, parsley, maggi herb
- 1 teaspoon Butter
- 0,5 Pc. Stone oven baguette – rest
- 500 ml Milk – missing from the picture
- 1 piece Egg
- 1 a cup Cream
- 100 g Grated hard cheese – the rest – I forgot to take photos
- Pepper salt
- Clean the mushrooms and spring onions, peel the onions and garlic. Roughly dice ham, meat, mushrooms and onions, and finely dice garlic. Cut the spring onions into rings.
- Heat the fat in a pan and fry the ingredients mentioned above. Remove from heat and stir in the chopped herbs.
- Grease a baking dish with butter and place the cut baguette slices in it like a brick.
- Heat the milk and pour it over the bread.
- Preheat the pipe to 175 degrees circulating air.
- Now distribute the vegetable-meat mixture between the bread slices.
- Grate the cheese and spread it over the casserole.
- Whisk the cream with the egg well and also distribute over the casserole.
- Turn the stove back to 150 degrees and bake the casserole for about 45 minutes until crispy.
