Ingredients
- 8 slices Toast
- 160 ml Milk
- 2 tbsp Custard powder
- 4 Eggs
- 60 g Sugar
- 1 tsp Grated lemon peel
- Cinnamon powder
Instructions
- Cut toast bread into cubes. Mix the milk with the custard powder and pour over the toast cubes. Separate eggs. Mix egg yolks, sugar, a little cinnamon and lemon zest until foamy and add to the softened bread. Beat the egg whites until stiff and fold carefully into the mixture. Put everything in an ovenproof, greased dish and bake in the preheated oven at 180 degrees for about 40 minutes. Sprinkle with powdered sugar and serve warm!
