Ingredients for 1 servings:
- 1 slice(s) bread(s) (sourdough bread)
- 1 bratwurst, coarse raw
- 1 small onion(s), diced
- some salt and pepper
- sweet peppers
- Marjoram, optional
Instructions
Working time approx. 5 minutes; Total time approx. 5 minutes
Place the slice of bread on a serving board. Slice the bratwurst, place it in a bowl, and season with a little marjoram (an authentic Franconian bratwurst already has marjoram in it). Spread the sausage meat on the slice of bread and season with a little salt, pepper, and a good grind of paprika. Sprinkle the diced onion over the top, cut the bread into bite-sized pieces, and enjoy! If you’d like the diced onion seasoned with the sausage, simply add it to the bread before adding the spices. A hearty treat or snack.
