Ingredients for 3 servings:

  • 3 potatoes
  • 4 tbsp butter
  • 1 ½ tsp salt
  • ¼ tsp white pepper
  • 5 eggs
  • 3 tbsp cream
  • 1 onion(s)
  • ½ tsp paprika powder, mild
  • 150 g salami or chorizo
  • 50 g cheese, grated
  • 2 tbsp parsley or chives, chopped

Instructions

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 20 minutes

Peel the potatoes, cut them into small cubes, and pat them dry with kitchen paper. Fry the potato cubes with 2 tablespoons of butter in a large pan until golden brown and crispy. Sprinkle with 1/2 teaspoon of salt and a little pepper. Whisk the eggs with the cream, grated onion, and the remaining seasonings. Melt the remaining butter in the pan, pour the eggs over the potatoes, and arrange the sausage slices on top of the egg mixture. Sprinkle with cheese and parsley/chives, and bake the tortilla for a few more minutes.
