Ingredients for 6 servings:

  • 2 onions
  • 3 garlic cloves
  • 1 bunch parsley, flat
  • 8 tbsp olive oil
  • 750 g minced beef
  • ½ tsp spice paste (harissa)
  • 2 tsp cumin, ground
  • 1 tsp coriander, ground
  • ½ tsp cinnamon
  • Salt
  • Pepper, freshly ground

Instructions

Working time approx. 40 minutes; Total time approx. 40 minutes

Peel and finely chop the onions and garlic. Wash the parsley, shake it dry, and finely chop the stems. Heat 2 tablespoons of olive oil in a pan and slowly sauté the diced onion and garlic until translucent. Place the minced meat in a large bowl. Add the parsley, harissa, and all the other spices and mix well. Add the diced onion and garlic and knead in. Season with salt and pepper. Form the mixture into approximately 24 rolls and fry in the remaining olive oil. Serve with tomato salad, yogurt sauce, and flatbread.
