Cauliflower and mince pasta

Ingredients for 2 servings:

  • 1 small cauliflower
  • 200 g pasta, e.g. Trulli
  • 300 g minced meat, mixed
  • 1 onion(s)
  • ½ tbsp butter
  • salt and pepper
  • 150 ml whipped cream
  • 4 gherkins
  • 2 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped

Instructions

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 30 minutes

Clean and wash the cauliflower, and divide it into small florets. Cook the pasta in boiling, lightly salted water until al dente. About 5 minutes before the end of the cooking time, add the cauliflower florets and cook. Peel and dice the onion. Fry the minced meat and diced onion in the butter until light brown and season with a little salt and pepper. Add the cream and 100 ml of the pasta cooking water, bring to a boil, and simmer for about 3 minutes. Drain the pasta and cauliflower and mix with the meat sauce. Season with a little salt and pepper. Dice the gherkins and sprinkle with the parsley.
