Celery-carrot-apple salad

Spread the love

Ingredients for 2 servings:

  • 1 small celery
  • 3 small carrots
  • 2 m.-sized apples
  • 1 handful of raisins
  • 1 handful of almonds or nuts (depending on availability and taste)
  • 250 ml pear juice

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Rest time approx. 8 hours; Total time approx. 8 hours 15 minutes

tastes good as breakfast, a wholesome raw food meal or as a salad side dish to meat dishes

Finely chop the celery, carrots, and apples and place them in a bowl. Add the raisins and pour the pear juice over the mixture. Mix thoroughly and let it sit (for a few hours is best). Chop the almonds and add them before serving. Add a little more pear juice, if desired. Tip: Apple juice can be used instead of pear juice, but pear juice is sweeter and works better in my opinion.
