Celery in orange juice

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 1 m.-large celeriac
  • 6 carrots
  • 1 vegetable onion(s)
  • 1 bottle of orange juice
  • Salt and pepper, black from the mill
  • 1 tbsp olive oil

Instructions

Working time approx. 30 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 50 minutes

Clean the celery and carrots and chop into large sticks. Peel the onion and slice into rings. Sauté the onion rings in olive oil, add the carrots, and sauté for 2 minutes. Then add the celery sticks. Sauté for another 2 minutes. Now top up with orange juice, season with salt, and a little pepper. After about 20 minutes, check if the vegetables are tender (this depends on the thickness of the sticks!).
