Ingredients for 2 servings:

  • 1 celeriac
  • 2 m.-sized onion(s)
  • 100 g butter
  • 1 cup of cream
  • 1 pinch of nutmeg
  • salt and pepper

Instructions

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 35 minutes

super easy and delicious

Peel the celeriac and dice. Finely chop the onions. Boil the celery in salted water for 10 minutes, then drain the water. Brown the onions in butter and then add them to the pot with the celery. Add the cream and bring everything to a boil. Purée with a hand blender and season with nutmeg, salt, and pepper. If you like, you can also crumble in some vegetable stock cubes. Finally, stir in the remaining butter. Perfect as a side dish or for something different.
