Cevapcici with mushroom cream sauce

Ingredients for 2 servings:

  • 8 frozen cevapcici
  • 100 g mushrooms or other mushrooms
  • 1 onion(s)
  • 1 cup of cream, approx. 200 g
  • butter
  • salt and pepper
  • nutmeg
  • Paprika powder, sweet
  • Caraway seeds
  • oil

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 35 minutes

Chop the mushrooms and onion. Sauté the onion in butter in a pan until translucent. Add the mushrooms. Season with salt, pepper, and caraway seeds. Fry the mushrooms for about 5 minutes. Stir in the cream and simmer until creamy. Season with nutmeg and paprika. Fry the cevapcici rolls in a pan with a little oil until golden brown. Serve the cevapcici with the mushroom sauce.
