Chard and tomato quiche

Ingredients for 5 servings:

  • 200 g flour
  • 100 g butter
  • ½ pack of baking powder
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 4 tbsp water, cold
  • 2 bunches of chard or spinach
  • 1 clove(s) garlic
  • some butter
  • 4 tomatoes
  • 200 ml milk
  • 2 tbsp quark or sour cream
  • 3 eggs
  • salt and pepper
  • 150g Gorgonzola

Instructions

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 20 minutes

with Gorgonzola

Knead together flour, butter, baking powder, 1 teaspoon salt, and 4 tablespoons water. Line a quiche dish or shallow cake tin thinly and evenly with the dough. Wash the chard and cut into thin strips. Finely chop a clove of garlic. Melt the butter in a pan and wilt the chard and garlic over low heat. Meanwhile, wash and slice the tomatoes. Spread the chard, garlic, and tomato slices on the dough. Whisk 200 ml milk with 2 tablespoons quark and 3 eggs in a cup with salt and pepper, then pour evenly over the vegetables. Finally, remove the rind from the Gorgonzola, dice the cheese, and spread it on the quiche. Bake in a preheated oven at 200°C for 40 minutes and enjoy hot or cold.
