Chard gratin with feta

Ingredients for 2 servings:

  • 500 g chard
  • 400 g minced meat
  • 400 g mushrooms
  • 180g Gouda
  • 200 g feta cheese, Greek
  • salt and pepper
  • Paprika powder
  • Spice mix (minced meat spice)

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 35 minutes; Total time approx. 50 minutes

Low-carb

Clean and wash the chard, trim off the thick stalks and roughly dice them. Cut the green leaves into strips about 1 cm wide. Fry the minced meat in a pan until crumbly. Season with minced meat seasoning, pepper, salt and paprika powder. Add the diced chard stalks. Cover and simmer over low heat for 10 minutes. In the meantime, thinly slice the mushrooms. Coarsely grate the Gouda. Coarsely grate or crumble the feta. Arrange the chopped chard leaves in a gratin dish. Arrange the mushrooms on top. Sprinkle the grated feta cheese on top. Spread the minced meat and chard mixture evenly in the gratin dish. Finally, sprinkle the grated Gouda on top. Bake in the oven on the middle rack at 160 °C (convection oven) for approx. 30 – 35 minutes. Nutritional values: total 1680 g, 17.7 g carbs, 179 g protein, 154 g fat, 2222 kcal. For 2 servings per serving: 840 g, 8.9 g carbs, 90 g protein, 77 g fat, 1111 kcal.
