Ingredients for 2 servings:

  • 1 head of chard
  • some olive oil
  • 3 clove(s) garlic, chopped
  • some spice paste (harissa) or chili
  • some lemon juice
  • some nutmeg, freshly grated
  • some oil (pumpkin seed oil)
  • salt and pepper

Instructions

Working time approx. 30 minutes; Total time approx. 30 minutes

Separate the leaves from the stems. Cut the leaves into strips and blanch them in salted water for 3 minutes. Then squeeze the liquid out. Heat the olive oil in a pan or wok. Finely dice the stems and sauté them slowly over moderate heat until translucent. Stir in the chopped garlic. Add the chili or harissa and mix with the squeezed leaves. Season with salt, pepper, lemon, and nutmeg and drizzle with a little pumpkin seed oil. Delicious both hot and cold.
