  • 100 g Beet syrup
  • 120 g Ground almonds
  • 120 g Ground hazelnuts
  • 2 tsp Christmas spice … RZ in my KB

  • Baking wafers
  • 100 g Powdered sugar
  • 4 tbsp Water hot
  1. Beat eggs and sugar until frothy. Stir in the syrup, almonds, nuts, Christmas spices and baking powder, then also the orange peel.
  2. Then place about 1 teaspoon of the dough on each wafer and place it on a baking sheet. (Cover a second baking sheet while the first baking is in progress.)
  3. Bake in an oven preheated to 180 ° C for about 15-18 minutes.
  4. Mix powdered sugar with water.
  5. After baking, let the Elisen cool down briefly and then spread the sugar mixture on the hot / very warm gingerbread cookies.
  6. After the casting has set, store it in a well-sealable container.
