Ingredients for 1 servings:
- 700 g flour
- 350 ml milk
- 1 packet of dry yeast
- 1 pinch of salt
- 1 tsp sugar
- 200 g bacon
- 200 g cheese, grated
Instructions
Working time approx. 20 minutes; Rest time approx. 10 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 45 minutes; Total time approx. 1 hour 15 minutes
Dice the bacon and fry. Then let it cool. Stir the yeast and sugar into a little lukewarm milk and let it rise for 10 minutes (pre-dough). Combine the flour, the remaining milk, a pinch of salt, and the pre-dough and knead. Once all ingredients are well blended, knead in the cheese and bacon. Place the dough on a baking sheet in the desired shape and bake at 180°C for 40-45 minutes. Brush or spray the bread with water occasionally.
