Cheese and oatmeal meatballs

Ingredients for 3 servings:

  • 100 g fine oat flakes
  • 3 eggs
  • 50 g onion(s)
  • 2 rusks, whole grain
  • 200 g cream cheese, grainy, creamy light

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Rest time approx. 1 hour; Cooking/baking time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 1 hour 30 minutes

Vegetarian

Combine the oats, eggs, onions, and cream cheese in a bowl. Crush the rusks and add them to the bowl. Stir everything until a smooth paste forms. Let it sit for about an hour, then portion into small balls. Add a little fat to the pan and fry the balls on both sides. Tastes great with ketchup or mayonnaise, or served cold! Or as a side dish to a meal!
