Ingredients for 4 servings:
- 4 onions
- 50 g butter
- 30 g flour
- 1 liter meat broth
- 120 g Gouda, aged
- pepper
- 4 tsp crème fraîche
Instructions
Working time approx. 15 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 30 minutes
Finely dice the onion. Sauté in butter until translucent. Dust with flour and deglaze with the meat broth. Simmer for 15 minutes. Finely grate the Gouda cheese. Remove the soup from the heat and stir in the Gouda cheese. Season with pepper. Ladle the soup into bowls. Top each with 1 teaspoon of crème fraîche.
