Spread the love

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 150 g Gouda (17% fat)
  • 250 g feta cheese (45% fat)
  • 150 g cream cheese (4% fat)
  • 1 m.-large onion(s), red
  • 3 tbsp pepper (jalapenos), pickled
  • ½ tsp salt and pepper
  • 3 garlic cloves

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Rest time approx. 10 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 10 minutes; Total time approx. 35 minutes

Cut the Gouda into approximately 5 mm wide strips and place them in a mixing bowl. Coarsely grate the feta cheese into the bowl with the Gouda using a kitchen grater. Add the cream cheese and mix with a mixer until you have a cheese mixture. Finely chop the jalapenos, grate the onion and press the garlic and add everything to the cheese mixture. Season with salt and pepper. Now use 2 tablespoons to shape the mixture into small flatbreads and place them on 1-2 baking sheets lined with parchment paper. Place the sheets in the preheated oven and bake at 175°C (top/bottom heat) for 6 minutes until browned and crispy. Remove the sheets from the oven, turn the chips over one at a time, and return them to the oven for another 4 minutes. After baking, remove the sheets from the oven and let the chips cool for 10 minutes.
