Cheese – Croissant
The perfect cheese – croissant recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.
- 250 g Flour
- 3 tsp Baking powder
- 125 g Quark
- 50 ml Milk
- 50 ml Rapeseed oil
- 1 St. Protein
- 1 tsp Salt
- 1 St. Egg yolk
- Some milk, Some caraway seeds, whole
- Filling as desired
- Make a dough from flour, baking powder, quark, milk, rapeseed oil, egg white and salt. Let rest a little.
- Prepare the filling as you like. I still had a small piece of feta cheese left, mashed it with a fork and made it smoother with a little quark and seasoned with salt and pepper. So the filling doesn’t have a specific recipe. You can choose them yourself.
- Roll out the dough and cut triangles, put some mixture on the broad side and roll up. Then mix the egg yolk with a little milk and brush the croissants. Sprinkle with a little caraway seeds.
- Bake at approx. 170 ° C for approx. 20 minutes.
- They still taste best warm.
