Cheese dumplings

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 1 pack of ham cubes, approx. 150 g
  • 2 tbsp oil
  • 1 onion(s), diced
  • 1 pack of Schupfnudeln from the refrigerated section, approx. 500 g
  • 200 ml cream
  • 1 handful of cheese, grated
  • 4 processed cheese slices
  • 1 shot of salsa
  • e.g. parsley, fresh

Instructions

Working time approx. 25 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 45 minutes

Fry the ham cubes in a pan, then add the onions and cook. Then add the potato dumplings and cook until lightly browned. Add the cream and grated cheese, then place the cheese slices on top. Let them melt slightly, then stir in. Season to taste with a dash of salsa and seasonings of your choice. Garnish with fresh parsley, if desired. Serve hot.
