Cheese meatloaf with peppers

Ingredients for 2 servings:

  • 500 g minced meat, mixed
  • salt and pepper
  • lots of sweet paprika powder
  • 150 g cheese, e.g. Gouda
  • 1 bell pepper(s), green
  • 1 egg(s)

Instructions

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 25 minutes; Total time approx. 35 minutes

from the microwave

Season the ground beef as usual with salt, pepper, and paprika. Stir in the diced cheese and diced bell pepper. With wet hands, form a loaf and place it on a microwave-safe dish (I usually use a plate). Sprinkle the loaf thickly with paprika. It should be coated with a red layer. Separate the egg, using only the egg white. Brush the egg white over the loaf. Cook the meatloaf uncovered in the microwave at 600 watts for 25 minutes.
