Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 160 g oat flakes
  • 260 ml buttermilk
  • 50 g flour
  • 1 pinch of salt
  • 2 tsp baking powder
  • 50 g Emmental cheese, grated
  • 2 tbsp oil
  • 2 small eggs
  • 2 tbsp chives, chopped
  • Fat for the mold

Instructions

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 25 minutes; Total time approx. 45 minutes

for 12 pieces

Combine the oats and buttermilk and let them sit for 10 minutes. Meanwhile, combine the flour, salt, baking powder, and cheese (reserve a little for topping). Add the oil, egg, and chives to the buttermilk-oat mixture. Add the dry ingredients and stir with a wooden spoon until well combined. Pour the batter into a lightly greased muffin tin and sprinkle with the remaining cheese. Bake in a preheated oven at 175°C (top/bottom heat) for approximately 20-25 minutes.
