Cheese pastries that taste simply divine and are quick and easy to make
Knead the flour, butter, and Emmental cheese thoroughly until a smooth dough forms. Let it rest in the refrigerator for about 30 minutes. Then roll it out thinly (about 2-3 mm, the dough will rise) and brush with egg yolk or canned milk. Sprinkle with paprika, poppy seeds, sesame seeds, or caraway seeds to taste. Cut out rectangles, diamonds, etc., and bake on a baking sheet at 160°C (320°F) for about 10-12 minutes until golden brown.
