Ingredients for 4 servings:
- 1 kg potatoes, boiled, peeled and grated
- 100 g Sbrinz, grated
- 50 g bacon, diced
- 1 onion(s), finely chopped
- 10 g butter
- 2 tbsp oil (preferably peanut oil or safflower oil)
- Salt
Instructions
Working time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 20 minutes
Heat the oil and butter, fry the onion and bacon until translucent, then add the potatoes. Turn the rösti over several times, season with salt, and then form into a cake. Fry on one side. When the bottom is crispy, flip the rösti over a plate and brown the other side. Slide the rösti onto a plate and sprinkle the grated Sbrinz cheese over the top. If you like, you can also mix the Sbrinz cheese with the potatoes, increasing the quantity to 200g.
