Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 50 g salami, finely diced
  • 280 g flour
  • 1 tbsp sugar
  • 2 tsp baking powder
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 60 ml oil
  • 2 eggs
  • 180 ml buttermilk
  • 50 g cheese of your choice, grated
  • Paprika powder for garnishing

Instructions

Working time approx. 25 minutes; Total time approx. 25 minutes

Preheat the oven to 180°C – 200°C. Line a muffin tin with paper baking cups. Sift the flour into a bowl. Add the sugar, baking powder, and salt and mix together. Pour the oil into another bowl. Beat in the eggs and buttermilk. Gradually stir in the flour mixture until a smooth batter forms. Fold in the Gouda cheese and salami cubes. Divide the batter among the muffins. Bake in the preheated oven for about 20-25 minutes until golden brown. Dust the muffins with a little paprika before serving.
