Cheese sauce with cream

Ingredients for 3 servings:

  • 350 g pasta
  • 150 g mascarpone
  • 175 g grated Parmesan or other grated cheese
  • 175g Gorgonzola
  • 200 g whipped cream
  • 150 ml milk
  • salt and pepper
  • butter

Instructions

Working time approx. 30 minutes; Total time approx. 30 minutes

3 – Cheese sauce

Cook the pasta until al dente. Meanwhile, melt some butter in the pan and add the cream. Once boiling, whisk in the mascarpone. Then add the finely chopped Gorgonzola and mix well. Let the sauce simmer gently. The cheese should dissolve well. Now gradually add the milk and grated cheese until the desired consistency is reached. Stir frequently. Finally, add the drained pasta and mix. Return to the heat. Season to taste with salt or pepper, if desired.
