Ingredients for 2 servings:
- 1 orange(s)
- 10 sage leaves
- 400 g tortellini (cheese tortellini)
- 3 tbsp butter
- 1 pinch of nutmeg
- Salt and pepper from the mill
- possibly flour for binding
Instructions
Working time approx. 10 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 25 minutes
Juice the orange. Wash the sage leaves and slice them into thin strips. Melt the butter in a pan and let the sage steep over medium heat for about 2 minutes. Then add the freshly squeezed orange juice and season generously with salt and pepper, adding a pinch of nutmeg to taste. Reduce the sauce over medium heat. Meanwhile, cook the tortellini in salted water according to the package instructions and then drain. When the sauce becomes slightly thickened, add the tortellini and mix well. Thicken the sauce with a little flour, if desired. Serve quickly and enjoy!
