Ingredients for 2 servings:

  • 2 slice(s) meat substitute (fillets, e.g. from Valess)
  • 2 rolls (egg white toast rolls)
  • 2 tomatoes
  • 1 onion(s)
  • 1 small bunch of arugula
  • 16 small mushrooms
  • 4 slice(s) cucumber(s)
  • 1 slice(s) Gouda
  • salt and pepper

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 15 minutes

with Valess fillets, low carb

Cut a slice from each tomato for the burger, then cut the rest into bite-sized pieces. Cut two slices from the onion and finely dice the rest. Mix the tomato pieces with the onions and season with salt and pepper. Fry the mushrooms without oil in a non-stick pan over low heat, then set aside. Briefly fry the onion slices and set aside with the tomato slices and cucumber. Heat the pan to medium heat and fry the fillets without oil. Lightly toast the buns. Build a burger from the fillets, cheese, tomatoes, cucumber slices, onions, and arugula. Serve with the mushrooms and tomato salad.
