Ingredients for 2 servings:

  • 300 g minced beef
  • 2 eggs
  • 2 hamburger buns
  • ketchup
  • 4 slices of cucumber
  • 4 slice(s) of tomato(s)
  • 2 lettuce leaves
  • 1 onion(s), red
  • salt and pepper
  • Oil for frying
  • 4 slice(s) Cheddar cheese, small slices

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 5 minutes; Total time approx. 20 minutes

With cucumber, tomato and salad

Season the ground beef with salt and pepper and form into two patties. Using a cookie cutter or a glass, cut out a heart or circle from the center and remove. Add a little oil to a hot pan and fry the patties, turn them over, and place a raw egg in the center of each one. If the eggs are very large, drain some of the egg white first. Season the egg with a little salt and turn the patties over again. Place the cheese on top and continue frying until melted. Cut open the burger buns and top with ketchup and lettuce. Layer the patties on top and top with tomato, onion, and cucumber slices, as desired. Tip: The leftover ground beef can be used to make great meatballs for your next snack.
