Spread the love

Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 500 g flour
  • 75 g sugar
  • 100 g butter or margarine
  • 250 ml milk
  • 1 egg(s)
  • 1 cube of yeast
  • 1 kg quark
  • 2 tbsp cornstarch
  • 2 tsp baking powder
  • 200 g sugar
  • 1 packet of vanilla sugar
  • 1 egg(s)
  • 100 g flour
  • 100 g butter or margarine
  • 100 g sugar
  • 100 g nuts or almonds, ground
  • possibly mandarin orange(s) from the can or raisins

Instructions

Working time approx. 30 minutes; Rest time approx. 1 hour; Total time approx. 1 hour 30 minutes

Sheet cake

First, knead the ingredients for the crumble and refrigerate. For the yeast dough, put the flour, sugar, egg, and yeast in a bowl. Melt the butter and then add the milk (just for a few seconds so the milk becomes lukewarm). Add the milk mixture to the flour mixture and mix with a dough hook until the dough pulls away from the bowl. Then let it rise in a warm place for about 45-60 minutes. It should double in size. In the meantime, mix the ingredients for the quark mixture (if you like, you can also add raisins or canned mandarins). Roll out the dough on a baking sheet and spread the quark mixture over it. Finally, spread the crumble on top. Bake in a preheated oven at about 200°C for 35-40 minutes (until the crumble is a nice golden brown).
