Ingredients for 8 servings:
- 500 g minced meat
- 1 onion(s)
- 2 garlic cloves
- 2 bell peppers
- 2 tbsp, heaped tomato paste
- 100 ml water
- 1 tsp, leveled vegetable broth
- 8 burger buns or hot dog buns
- 1 pack of cheese (grated cheese)
- 1 tsp sugar
- some oil
- Paprika powder, hot
- Salt
- Cayenne pepper
- curry powder
- n. B. Pickled gherkin(s)
- e.g. Jalapeño(s), pickled
Instructions
Working time approx. 30 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 30 minutes; Total time approx. 1 hour
cheese-topped rolls with minced meat filling
Fry the ground beef in a pan until crumbly. Season with salt, cayenne pepper, and paprika. Cut the bell peppers into thin strips and halve them. Finely dice the garlic and onion. Sauté the onions until translucent. Add the garlic and fry briefly. Add to the ground beef. Sauté the bell peppers and season with a little stock. When the peppers are soft, add the tomato paste and water. Season with sugar and spices and simmer for 5 minutes. Mix the ground beef into the sauce. Preheat the oven to 150°C (fan oven). Cut open the rolls and sprinkle each with cheese. Bake until the cheese is melted. Remove the rolls from the oven. Spread the ground beef mixture on one half and serve garnished with jalapeños or pickles.
