Ingredients for 4 servings:
- 60 g margarine
- 125 g sugar
- 1 packet of vanilla sugar
- 1 flavoring (bitter almond baking oil)
- 2 eggs
- 150 g semolina
- 125 g flour
- 3 tsp baking powder, level
- 250 ml milk
- 500 g cherries
- Fat for the mold
Instructions
Working time approx. 25 minutes; Total time approx. 25 minutes
Whisk the fat until smooth. Add the sugar, vanilla sugar, bitter almond oil, eggs, and semolina. Stir in the flour mixed with the baking powder alternately with the milk. Fold in the drained cherries. Pour the mixture into a greased casserole dish. Bake at 180°C for about 60 minutes. Tip: Make a delicious sauce from the cherry juice and serve with the mixture.
