Ingredients for 1 servings:
- 3 eggs
- 160 g sugar
- 400 g rusks
- 125 g butter
- 1 kg cherries
- 1 tsp, heaped cinnamon powder
- 1 tsp. clove powder
- 60 g almonds
- ½ liter of milk
- 1 tbsp rum
Instructions
Working time approx. 20 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 55 minutes; Total time approx. 1 hour 15 minutes
Cream the butter and sugar until fluffy, then add the eggs one at a time. Heat the milk and pour it over the crumbled rusks. Mix all ingredients together, fold in the cherries, and pour into a cake tin. Bake at approximately 185 degrees Celsius for about 55 minutes.
