Cherry Pudding Cake Pieces

  • 1 pck Custard powder for boiling
  • 400 ml Milk
  • 3 tbsp Sugar
  • 24 Pc. Pickled sour cherries
  • 3 tbsp Sifted powdered sugar
  • 1 tbsp Milk

  1. Prepare the pudding according to the instructions on the package – only with 400 ml milk. Put in a bowl and cover with cling film. Press the film onto the pudding – prevents skin formation. Then at least 4 hours. cool.
  2. Place the puff pastry on a baking sheet lined with baking paper and divide into 4 pieces. Brush the edges with egg white.
  3. Spread the now firm pudding on the dough pieces and cover with the well-drained cherries.
  4. Fold the dough pieces together from the short side and press together well at the edges. Brush with the egg yolk.
  5. Preheat the oven to 200 degrees and bake the pieces for about 25 minutes.
  6. Let the cake pieces cool down. Mix the powdered sugar with the milk and distribute on the cake pieces as you wish.
