Ingredients for 4 servings:
- 1 jar sour cherries
- 1 tbsp cornstarch
- 1 tbsp sugar
- some cinnamon powder
Instructions
Working time approx. 5 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 10 minutes; Total time approx. 15 minutes
Drain the cherries in a sieve and collect the juice in a bowl. Remove 6 tablespoons of cherry juice and pour it into a small bowl. Mix the cornstarch with the 6 tablespoons of cherry juice and bring the remaining cherry juice to a boil. Then stir in the cornstarch mixture, bring to a boil, and add the sugar and cinnamon. Add the drained cherries and stir gently.
