Cherry Squirrel
The perfect cherry squirrel recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.

- 300 g Flour
- 75 g Sugar
- 150 g Butter
- 1 Egg

- 1 glass Cherry jam

- 50 g Powdered sugar
- 3 tsp Lemon juice
- Desiccated coconut
- Work the flour, sugar, butter and egg into a smooth dough. Chill for about 1 hour.
- Roll out the dough thinly on a floured work surface. Cut out circles approx. 22 cm in diameter. I took a bowl with it! : O) Cut each circle into 8 triangles. Put a little jam on the wide side and roll up into croissants towards the tip. Bake one after the other in the oven at 200 degrees for about 12 minutes. Let cool down.
- Make a glaze from the powdered sugar and lemon juice and coat the croissants with it. Sprinkle with desiccated coconut.
