Ingredients

For the tartlet bowls:

  • 200 g Sifted flour
  • 1 tsp Baking powder
  • 50 g Sugar
  • 1 Pck. Vaille sugar
  • 1 pinch Salt
  • 100 g Cold butter

For the filling:

  • 370 g Sour cherries from the glass
  • 200 g Cold marzipan paste
  • 2 Eggs
  • 125 ml Cream

Instructions

  • For the tartlets, mix the flour, baking powder, sugar, vanilla sugar and a pinch of salt, 3 tablespoons. Add cold water and the butter in pieces. First work with the dough hook, then with your hands into a smooth dough. Chill for approx. 30 minutes.
  • Turn over a muffin tin (for 12 pieces), grease the outside of the molds. Roll out the dough on a little flour, cut out about 3 mm thick, 10-11 cm (in diameter) circles and place on the mufin molds and press down. Knead the rest of the dough together and roll out again.
  • Prick the dough on the bottom with a fork and bake in the preheated oven, electric stove 200 °, convection 180 °, for about 12 minutes - let cool down a little and remove the bowls from the molds.
  • Drain the cherries, coarsely grate the marzipan. Mix the eggs and cream into the marzipan with a mixer.
  • Fill the tarelettes with the cherries, spread the marzipan mixture over them and bake in the oven for another 20 minutes (same temperature as the tartelettes). Allow to cool and dust with powdered sugar before serving.
