Chia-lemon shake

Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 300 ml water
  • 1 tsp chia seeds
  • 1 lemon(s)
  • 1 tbsp honey

Instructions

Working time approx. 5 minutes; Rest time approx. 1 hour; Total time approx. 1 hour 5 minutes

Ideal for a small breakfast, filling

Soak the chia seeds in 100 ml of water for one hour. Stir occasionally. After this hour, squeeze the lemon and pour the juice into a tall glass. Add the honey and dissolve it slightly in the lemon juice. Pour in 200 ml of water and stir well. Add the soaked chia seeds and mix or shake well again. The shake is best enjoyed on an empty stomach before a small breakfast or as a breakfast substitute. The honey can also be replaced with other sweeteners if you are watching your carbohydrate intake or if you want the drink to be completely alkaline. To achieve the full effects of this drink, drink it every day for several weeks.
