Ingredients

  • 400 Ml Hazelnut milk
  • 1 piece Papaya
  • 1 piece Orange, juice and peel
  • 6 tbsp Chia seeds

Instructions

  • Release the pulp of the papaya, dice, puree together with a small pinch of salt, orange juice and zest of the peel and the hazelnut milk. Put about 1 tablespoon of chia seeds into small screw-top jars or a larger bowl that you have on hand (be careful, they swell a lot). The ratio of liquid to seeds should be around 1 to 6. Cover with the liquid. Leave to stand in the refrigerator for a few hours to give the seeds time to swell. It is best to let them swell overnight, the longer, the more nutrients they develop.
  • Chia seeds belong to the new "superfoods" and have a very high vegetable protein content, also a high proportion of the praised omega fatty acids, contain calcium and iron. They also swell in the stomach and ensure a long feeling of satiety, some use it for weight loss. You shouldn't overdose it with daily consumption (not more than 15 MG per day), but one or two glasses of this delicacy are definitely allowed :-).
